Assoc. Prof. Abu Zahrim Yase

Abu Zahrim Yaser is Associate Professor at Chemical Engineering Programme, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He obtained his PhD from Swansea University (UK), MSc from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (Malaysia) and BEng from University of Malaya (Malaysia). Dr. Zahrim’s research mainly focuses on waste processing technology and has been leading several projects since 2006. To date, Dr. Zahrim has published 7 books, 19 book chapters, 38 journals and 50++ other publications. He has been delivered various keynotes and invited talks. His invention has been adopted by Tongod and Nabawan District Authority, Sabah, for managing their organic waste. Besides that, he is actively involved as a reviewer for several high impact journals. Dr. Zahrim was a visiting scientist at the University of Hull.
